VISMAX Pro – Central machine and process data management

VISMAX Pro

The VISMAX system is used for central machine and process data management. Using VISMAX, the machine data connected via Ethernet is displayed on a PC. The system can also be used in a wide range of applications:

  • Comprehensive process visualisation
  • Production data management
  • Recipe management
  • Overview of production systems
  • Storage of process data
  • Connection to higher-level systems
  • Data export in all common data formats (e.g. PDF, HTML, Excel)
  • Graphic representation (e.g. temperature curves during brine production)

The most important functions of the VISMAX PC deal with recording, visualisation, evaluation and storage. The PC can also be used as a recipe editor.

Using the network, control functions are processed and the operating data for the visualisation is completely recorded.

The visualisation is divided into three significant areas:

1. Recording of operating data

All relevant operating data from the injector is displayed and stored in table form. This can also be displayed as a curve if time-related procedures should be shown.

2. Recipe management

The machine control unit is equipped with an individual recipe management system, where machine settings can be stored depending on the product. All recipes can be displayed and edited in the visualisation system.

3. Alarm / error management

Any alarms or errors which occur are stored separately with time and date in each machine control unit. The visualisation system is able to import these lists and save them in a daily table. This file can then be exported into common spreadsheet programs.

The following machines can be connected in VISMAX Pro:

VISMAX connection with BRIMAX brine preparation
  • All recipe ingredients are stored exactly by weight
  • Recipe management with recipe names, numbers and ingredient lists
  • Brine production controlled by operator
  • Stored mixing and cooling programs
  • Recipe names are forwarded on to the storage tanks
  • Display of brine level overview from all brine tanks
  • The relevant brine description is saved in the consumer recipes
  • Automatic detection via the brine description on the consumers
  • Targeted supply of brine to the consumers (e.g. using a ring line)
VISMAX connection with IMAX injectors
  • All process parameters of the injector are stored in a recipe
  • Automatic supply of the correct brine
  • Temperature monitoring with warning messages and stop function
  • Display of brine level overview
  • Stop function when idle
VISMAX connection with MAX massage units
  • All process parameters of the massage unit are stored in a recipe
  • Using the label printer, important information can be printed during drainage and attached to the drainage tank

Utilisation potential using VISMAX

Increase in production monitoring
  • All product-relevant process data is recorded, visualised, evaluated and stored
  • Central overview and control of machine connections on the PC
  • Batch tracing
  • Automatic, IT-compatible recording, calculation, entry, monitoring and storage of process data
Increase in production quality
  • The quality of procedures can be monitored on a long-term basis, and is therefore an important quality control tool
  • Possible operating errors are minimised
  • Automatically determined specifications support product reliability
  • VISMAX is an important basis for researching the causes of faulty products
Increase in production reliability
  • Complete control, monitoring and documentation of work procedures
  • Guidance of operating personnel during the work procedure
  • Automatic alarm when limits are exceeded
  • Increase in the level of automation
  • All process parameters can be changed centrally
